Class of 2021

A sustainable heat insulating material made from the waste generated by food and cane industries that can be used in interiors and exteriors as Plasters and Cladding.

The fermentation optimized the thermal insulation qualities of the new material. The material has many pores that makes it lighter and easier to lift, while maintaining its strength.

Materials - Bamboo, Chalk Powder, Oyster shells & Gum (Tragacanth)

As all the materials are natural and obtained from the waste, it creates a new cycle of material use. All the different materials serve the main function of heat insulation and are supported by other functions like breathability, odor control, cleaner air and termite resistance.
